Bounces Indicate Spammer issue

Today one of my users got trapped with a bounce detection rule "Bounces Indicate Spammer". We are still running SmarterMail Enterprise Version 15.7.6844.  I verified in the log that indeed there were the set number of bounces in the time frame I specified. Now I remember addressing this issue with support back on 9/15/2017 and remember getting a custom build to fix this because it never showed in the Current IDS Blocks section. So in turn this requires a restart of SmarterMail itself and affects some of my clients that use calendar sharing. So anyway, this issue has cropped up again and I believe this should have been fixed awhile ago (15.7.6474). I still have the previous ticket number from back then if support needs to see that for reference.

So checking the Current IDS Blocks list, this event still does not show and in fact I should have received an email notifying me of the event being tripped, but the server never sent one. So to clear it I will have to restart SM because the block is memory resident since I can't get to it from the Current IDS Blocks list. I know this is probably a long shot, but since I can't upgrade to the latest version yet because of the Server OS we are using (Windows Server 2008 R2), would support be willing to look into this or am I left to restarting the server when this happens again? I would prefer to have a fix if possible.
