IMAP Re-downloading/Re-Syncing every couple of days

Hello we are using the latest version of Smartermail 16.x

In some mailboxes that are configured IMAP using Apple Mail and Outlook 365 we are experiencing some problems.

Mainly the problem we are experiencing is that, every couple of days the email client (some in apple mail, others are using outlook) for some reason starts re-downloading/re-syncing all the messages again. 

This is a pain, specially with outlook and large mailboxes because while it is downloading the user cannot receive and/or send emails until outlook finishes synchronizing.

I was wondering if anyone is experiencing this problem and any suggestion on how to solve it.

Are you on the latest version of 16?  Definitely not a known issue.  MIght be best to open a support ticket so we can take a look at your logs and server.
