Does Smartermail V15 and + support domain name with Accent?
Question asked by CLEBER SAAD - 12/21/2018 at 8:08 AM

I was created a domain name with accent in registro.br (aka registrar in Brazil) has soluções.com.br. The DNS and WebSite working very well and the domain in the Smartermail with codification too (xn--solues-fyb80a.com.br). But when I create a domain with soluções.com.br or try to login with account@soluções.com.br doesn't work.

In time, the domain soluções.com.br it's a domain alias as xn--soluesgrafica-fyb80a.com.br

No, it would probably function within SmarterMail maybe. But it could definitely fail when talking to other servers via SMTP. There is an RFC we plan on eventually supporting that allows special characters like this in the protocol. However, a change like that requires a top-to-bottom look at all our protocols and our interface.
TL;DR: It may work for certain things, but probably not as a whole.
