Is it normal that there's always "0" SpamAssassin connections?

Is it normal that in "REPORTS" --> "SpamAssassin Processing" there's always "0" both in "Successful connections" and in "Failed Connections"?

Notice that we do not use an external SpamAssassin server, only the one integrated in SmarterMail

Let me say one thing: I (my company ...) come from years of use of MailEnable, Exchange and Kerio Connect with dozens of installations both as Mail-As-A-Service for various cloud customers and as ON PREMISE by others customers.

After about 2 years of using SmarterMail I have to say that I am extremely satisfied with the product (I am looking forward to the MAPI support ...).

As soon as the MAPI support will be available, we will test it first with our company mail accounts and, if all goes well, we will gradually convert all our installations ...

Also I must say that SmarterTools in my opinion is doing a great job supporting the customers, none of our previous suppliers have ever worked like that !!!

Hello Gabriele,

First, to answer your post, what you are seeing is normal when you're using the internal spam assassin.  If you were using an external spam assassin then that's when we would need to make external connections to that server to evaluate spam.  At that point you would then see those values changing.

Second, thanks for the kind words about the company.  The new release of all of our products are very important and we really wanted to provide a great experience especially with our changes in how we support the products.  I'll have to show others your response as I'm sure they'll really enjoy the positive response...it makes our longer work days feel that much more gratifying.
