SM 17 6897 Address Book Export to CSV issue
Problem reported by Juan Lai - 11/19/2018 at 7:12 PM
Resolved

Hello SmarterTools,

While I exported the Address Book to CSV file, I found the double byte characters are all messed up. (I am using Traditional Chinese).

Also for the Last name field, I found the 'Country' field was extra added here to the end of  "Last Name". (the 'country' filed has the same value from the CSV file)

I found this from last version and also happened to 6897.

By the way, It seems the double byte characters is existing in SM16 as well. Thanks

hello Robert,

Will this be fixed for SM17? I found the issue still existed for SM17 6913.
   Thanks

Hi Juan,
From what I can tell this appears to be an issue with Excel reading the CSV. In order to get it to work I needed to go to the Data tab > From Text/CSV, then change the File Origin to UTF-8.
