Confirm new users email address

Hi,

I am creating a user interface to SmarterTrack and wish to create new members using the API. I am creating new users fine but can't figure out how to 'enable' SmarterTrack to send the new user an email using the default template to confirm their entered address. How do I use/access it?

It appears I need to provide a link that they can click on and this link will be incorporated into the message. Do I have to create this page and write a script using the API to do the IsEmailVerified change?

Do I need to enable this functionality and if so how.

The verification email is automatically sent by SmarterTrack when a user registers a new account through the portal. If they lose or do not receive the email, users can also request a new verification email from their portal profile page. Note that users will only be able to trigger a resend from their profile if they have not previously verified their currently configured email address. At present, there is no other way to trigger the verification email.

After internal discussion, we are planning to modify the way that verification emails are triggered. Instead of the current setup, which sends the verification email when a user registers on the portal or when triggered by a user or agent, we are going to make the verification email event triggered so that it is sent any time a new user is created.
