Repeat: REMEMBER folder list visibility
Idea shared by Neal Culiner - 10/1/2018 at 5:58 AM
Completed
Once again I ask that if I hide my folder list (left pane) in SM web mail that it remains hidden/collapsed even after I return. Why you keep making me see this when I don't want to see it baffles me and does not lend to a better user experience to me. I only want to be in that pane when I need to navigate among other folders. If all I want to view is the Inbox then that's all I need to navigate. The major navigation is in the top toolbar for calendar, contacts, mail, etc. Allow me to get this wasted screen real-estate out of my life.

Hi Neal,

This change is coming for the next minor release of SmarterMail 16.x. The sidebar view state will be remembered in the site cookies. As long as you don't clear or block cookies for the SmarterMail site, your sidebar open/close state will be remembered.
