Characters in password, imap folder not showing in clients and webmail line length

We upgraded to 16.3.6830 last weekend and are experiencing the issues below;

Webmail composed messages with attachment being rejected with the error: Remote host said: 500 Line too long
After inspecting the email source the attachment (base64 encoded) are presented in one long line instead of chunked.
Passwords containing Swedish characters like åäö won't work in email clients like Outlook and Thunderbird. They work if used with the webmail not not in a stand alone client.
As soon as the Swedish characters where removed it started working again.
Some email folders are missing in both Outlook and Thunderbird (they are shown in the webmail) We have tried to unsubscribe/subscribe to the imap-folder list.

Any idea as to what might cause the symptoms above?
