Hi,

When I am managing a ticket, Is it possible to start a local program located in a specific path (+ adding the ticket ID as an argument)?

Oren

No, this is not an option. Various browser security features prevent this kind of interaction.

So, if you want to do some integration with another product (in this case, to start / stop / get info), how do you do it?

Our APIs provide various kinds of interaction. For example, you can create a ticket, add a message, change the ticket status, and more using the Track APIs. To access the API documentation for the version of Track you are running, go to Settings in the management interface and click "API Documentation" near the bottom of the navigation tree.

The intergration you  are suggesting is from external program to the ticketing system. The thing is that because the ticketing system in a service desk team is usually the main program in focus on the desktop, most actions starts there (for example: start remote control program). This is why I asked if you can do the integration from the ticketing system to an external program.
