Bug in 16.3.6795 - Clicking FLAG in mail list
Problem reported by Neal Culiner - 8/11/2018 at 5:04 AM
Resolved
In the inbox view, clicking the flag in the list of messages does not change it to red. It does in the right/reading pane, it shows red there, but in the list of messages it remains white until it is reloaded after moving away from inbox and back.

Hi Neal,

I'm able to replicate this behavior but not quite how you mentioned. For me, clicking on either of the flag icons works as expected. It immediately turns both icons red, and clicking either icon removes the color from both.

However, when I right-click on an email in the message list and select "Flag", the message list icon turns red, but the preview pane icon does not. I have to leave that message view and come back to it in order to see a red icon in the preview pane.

What's your SmarterMail setup like? Which browser are you using? I'll get this reported to the development team.

I left clicked on the icon in the inbox mail list and it didn't change at all in Google Chrome on Mac but the reading pane, right side did show the flag turn red.
