Change format of auto complete entries?

Is there a way to change the default way emails appear in auto complete?

Specifically, I want just the email without the name showing up
 
So instead of : "bob" <bob@email.com> - I just get the email: "bob@email.com"

I'm afraid there is not a way to modify the auto-complete styling in SmarterMail. It will always show the display name with the email address, if it is available.
