Internal delivery issues

For months on SM 16 my remote staff send me emails I don't receive, typically with PDF attachments for their invoices. I also don't get emails from replies on this site, yet it seems I get plenty of other emails so all looks normal to me only to learn via chat that I didn't get something. Typically it's someone else on the same domain sending me emails via their PC's (mac or windows). I don't see anything in junkmail and it's not my firewall that also has anti-spam. Any suggestions? Nothing has changed in my config for years other than SM upgrades.
