Webmail Interface should indicate whether Email Addresses are already contacts or not

I'm trying to keep my address book updated but it's hard because there's currently no way to tell if the users involved in an email (To, From, CC) are in your address book already or not. If you do an Add To Contacts, it creates a duplicate rather than acknowledging or displaying a matching contact.

Thank you for the feedback, David! I've forwarded this to the development team.

Hi David,

This is in progress for SmarterMail 17.x. Emails will now show text in the email header that indicates that the email is from a Trusted Sender, and it will show the source of that trusted sender as well (Trusted Sender list, Contacts, GAL, Domain Trusted Sender list).

To accommodate other addresses that are in the To, Cc or Bcc fields, I'll also add a request to remove the "Add Contact" option if that email address is already included in one of your contacts.

This has been added with the release of Build 6911 on December 3rd, 2018.

This isn't what I asked for. I do see this functionality now that I've upgraded to a newer version of SM, but this doesn't really meet the need. Let me provide an example of what I'm looking for...
A friend sends an email to a group of people including me. I want to be able to quickly see which of the other people in the email (whether in To or CC), are already in my Contacts so that I can add the people that are missing if they are someone I want in my contacts.

While this does now indicate if the sender is in my contacts, it doesn't address any of the other folks included in the email. It also, still displays Add Contact for the sender in the right-click menu even though that user is already a contact. It should switch to Edit Contact.

Hi David, good idea!
Gabriele Maoret - Head of SysAdmins at SERSIS Currently manages 6 SmarterMail installations (1 in the cloud for SERSIS which provides services to a few hundred third-party email domains + 5 on-premise for customers who prefer to have their mail server in-house)

I think there should also be a visual warning when the email did not really come from the person in the From field (e.g. when there is a SPF fail). If the systems displays any green "Trusted" text in an email that was spoofed and is in fact SPAM/phishing, it`s a recipe for disaster.
