Less ... option/dropdown button if possible

Proposed
Of course we need a ... Button if there is no space to show all possible options
But where there is plenty of room and because the interface is responsive the space to put buttons is mostly enough it should be used.
 
Like this example in the connection list. I used my paint.net skills again :) to create some buttons.
 
You see, even when the screen size is small, responsiveness makes sure that there is enough space
