Code paragraph option does not honor leading whitespace when pasted.
Problem reported by Paul Stearns - 5/16/2018 at 1:03 PM
Resolved
In SmarterMail 16.x when Paragraph type "Code" is selected, if you type text leading whitespace (indentation) is honored. If however you copy a block of code with leading whitespace, the leading whitespace collapsed when it is inserted into the email body, making actual code unreadable.

This annoying for all languages (c, c++, C#, emacs, VB, PL/SQL), but for Python, it renders the code unusable.

I can see what you mean, Paul. Let me do some more testing and report this to the devs for their input.

Thanks. I use it a lot. So does most of my staff.

Paul, this issue should be resolved in the next maintenance release of SmarterMail 16, which is tentatively scheduled for tonight, 23 Aug.
