Hi Manuel,

It looks like your subscription for ActiveSync is still current, and it won't expire until your Upgrade Protection expires later this year. If port 443 is not available at Bindings > Ports, you can click New to create a new port for ActiveSync, secure that binding with SSL or TLS (if available), and assign one or multiple IP addresses to that specific port.

Keep in mind that SmarterTools does not offer SSL/TLS certificates, so if your current certificate has expired, you'll need to contact a certificate provider for that renewal.

I hope this helps!

UPDATE: ActiveSync bindings are not configured within SmarterMail. Instead, port 443 should be bound within IIS.

Hi Andrea

Just saw this thread and I wonder: Which protocol would you choose for a new ActiveSync binding? The options in the appropriate dialogue are SMTP, POP, IMAP, LDAP, Submission, XMPP.

Martino, make sure you have 443 bound in IIS and choose the correct SSL/TLS certs there.  You do not have to configure ActiveSync bindings within SmarterMail itself.

Sorry about the confusion, Martino! I've updated my thread to not confuse other users. Robert's reply below is the correct answer.
