GDPR Compliance Information - We have some answers

Hi everyone. I'm not sure if it is alright to post this here since it is not directly related to SmarterMail, but I'm hoping SmarterTools will allow it and possibly make it a sticky since it is very important to companies that the new GDPR will affect come May 25th, 2018.

My company, Mail's Best Friend, has done a great deal of research in reference to the new GDPR policy that will be enforced in May 2018. There are very hefty fines for non-compliance. The European Union gave us a very tricky and in terms of business, some silly policies. If your country is not a member of the European Community, the GDPR can be a nightmare.

I agree with you! We found that the new policy was confusing so we decided to start researching as much as we could so we could provide simple, straight to the point answers to questions we thought that email administrators would ask. I'm hoping a lot of folks start asking questions here so we can get the answers and add them to our KB. The more we know about it, the better we can help everyone else. :)
