SmarterMail Ver 16x - Filtering At Administrator Level for Multiple Domains
Question asked by Doreen Jones - 1/30/2018 at 5:06 PM
Unanswered
I've had a strange incident today.  I have about 50 domains in my SmarterMail system.  If an email is sent with the subject of "Shipping Label" from two different domains to one email address in another domain, the logs show ". . . has completed (Deleted) Filter: spam mail" when sent from one domain and ". . . has completed (Deleted) Filter: obvious spam" from another domain.  These are valid filters for both domains.

If I change the Subject line to anything else - the email goes through fine.  But checking both domains with the detail of the Content Filters named above - neither includes the words in the Subject Line of "Shipping Label."

So I'm wondering if there is a root level Content Filter at the Primary Administrator level that I'm not finding that may be blocking those words.  I have been looking for 2 hours and testing and can't find anything.  I've also reloaded the domains and rebooted the server.

Hi Doreen,

There is no system-level content filtering available. The only types of "filters" available as a System Administrator are the spam filtering options found at Settings > Antispam > Options tab and the system events found at Settings > Events.

What are the Conditions for the two domain-level filters you found?
