We are looking to put a SmarterMail server in front of our main server so that we can take the load off of our main server for spam checking. As a part of this we want to lock down our main server so that messages coming in are forced to SMTP Authenticate. We want to prevent messages from circumventing our spam checking server and going straight to our main server which is why we are interested in this option. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!
