Missing the New/Select/Delete/ etc.. Icons on browser latest Version

We have a client that is missing the New / Select / Delete / icons in Google Chrome on a Mac.  I am also using Chrome on a Mac and I do see the icons.  I need a way to get them back but have no idea how.  See the image below.  Notice the image below. This is his screen

Hello Barbara,
 
I am not able to reproduce this on Chrome on Mac either. Is the user on the latest version of Chrome? Also try viewing it in Incognito mode on Chrome and see if it works.
