SM 16 File Storage issues
Problem reported by Matthew Shepard - 1/22/2018 at 11:51 AM
Resolved
We have noticed a couple of issues with linking from file storage:

1. When uploading to file storage, the directory selected by the user is functionally ignored; it looks like it is the correct directory, but it is not.
    a. When the user selects the link file action, and looks in the directory which the user selected when uploading the file, it is not there.  Instead the file has been saved in the directory in which the user last uploaded a file.
    b. Correct function only returns after re-starting the browser.
2. When the user selects the link file action and chooses a file, prior to interacting with the body of the message, the link is placed below the signature.

Thanks.

This has been added to our bugs list.  Do you have replication steps for the first issue?  I am able to upload to the folder I have selected.  I was able to replicate the second issue.

Sweet thanks.
You need to have multiple folders, and it does look like it uploads to the folder you selected at first. But if you go look at the folder you last uploaded to, you should see the file listed there as well, and when you go to link it in an e-mail, you see that it does not show up under that folder that it is supposed to be, but as the last folder you had uploaded the document to.

Matthew, can you verify that your file storage issues were resolved in the last public release?
