Can not enable gridline/border in tables through v16 webmail editor
Problem reported by Alessandro Pereira - 1/18/2018 at 5:16 AM
Resolved
The HTML editor of v16 does not enable gridline/border in tables, it is not possible to insert border=1.
This version is not being nice, simple functions do not work.

Hi, Alessandro

When I manually add a table border, while it doesn't show in the editor itself, it IS showing in the final table when it's sent through SmarterMail. Is that what you're seeing as well?

I'll run this by the mail team to see what the issue is with the editor -- it should show the finished product prior to sending the email.

Hi, Derek Curtis

Yes correct.

Also it is not possible to manually insert a table and leave the border = 1, when sending the email with the table the border does not appear.

Thank you

Hi,
The border attribute is not supported in HTML5, this may be why you're encountering issues with the table appearing correctly.

Why does SmarterMail v15, mailenabled, and randcube work?
Only in smartermail v16 do not have the option that works?
