Spamhaus - pbl and pbl2

Hi,

Not sure how to check this, I had a few people reporting that they didn`t receive a few emails. Checking in the logs I could see a few were deleted cause they have been failed SPAMHAUS PBL and PBL2 but when I check the domains and IPs against the actual spamhaus website it comes back with the domains not listed/flagged. Checked it against other blacklists as well and still not showing. My question is why did it get flagged? And I could find at least 5 domains at this point in the past 48 hours. Received to different domains as well, not just to one.

Is there an issue?

Kind regards,
Valentin

SpamHaus updates every 2 minutes. What was listed 2 minutes ago may not be listed now. SpamHaus is GREAT but there is little to gain by checking anything but their ZEN database.

Additionally you may reconsider using the DELETE action. No single spam filter is 100% accurate and deleting a message based on only one test is generally not a good idea.

Hi Joe, thank you for your advice. I`ve lowered the ratings for all of them to 10, as they were set to 30 as a default. That`s why they were getting deleted.

Kind regards,
Valentin
