[SM 16.3] missing mails with Could not write HDR file, trying again in 250ms.

Hello All,
   I got a report from a user claimed the mail he sent was 'eaten' by the mail system.
   I didn't get this mail as well although I was on the list. I also checked the mail archive and found
no such email existing. But when I checked smtp log, I found this mail was processed with an error:
 
     Could not write HDR file, trying again in 250ms
 
But it seems it was fixed by the next try.  log is as below, and I removed the domain from the log.
 
    How can I find where the mail is? or what's wrong with it? Thanks!

You might want to check your delivery logs as well, there might be another reason why it did not deliver that message. Also I'm assuming you wish to keep your email addresses hidden so I edited your post as you left one of the emails obfuscated.

To add onto Matt's comment you can search the delivery log for the last 5 digits of the EML file name to find the specific delivery session for the SMTP session you included above.

So for example, you can see in the SMTP log the following line:

Data transfer succeeded, writing mail to 29520580.eml

You can then search the delivery log for 20580 to isolate the delivery session.

I checked this and found just 2 lines. It seems it takes 2 hours to complete the delivery..
But I still can't find the reason why it's disappeared.
