How to close an account and send a new email address for the user in the mailbox no longer available message?

A few users are no longer being hosted on my server and they have new email addresses. How do I shut down their account but anyone that sends a message to them gets a message with their new email address? How is the best way to go about closing an account and notifying the sender of a new address?

One way is to not close the account for awhile. Set up the autoresponder. If you want to delete the incoming messages, you can perhaps set up a content filter to delete messages as they come in.

After a few days, you should then delete the account, which will of course stop the auto-responder. There are probably other ways to do this, but that's what comes to mind.
