Good moorning, in the following case I need your help, because when configuring web version 16 of smatermail I got an error, saing that it is not possible to create the primary user administrator, however it is an isolated site that has been organized as the migration staging environment.

100% not sure on this but see 5 stars for your password. I would think (hope) that they want you to have letters/numbers/special characters and at least 8 characters. Not sure if that is it or not but something to try.

I ended up installing 15.7 and upgraded to 16, works perfectly

Getting this too with SmarterMail 16.3.6572.

now it's working.
side effect with Coldfusion application server and wsconfig tool tomcat (isapi-redirect.dll).
Had to uninstall webserver connector.
prior to this, got logfile entrance:
/jakarta/isapi_redirect.dll - 9998 - ... /interface/setup 404 0 0 53
