Mail Archival Issue.

I used to move all the zipped archive file along with their .dat file to a backup server. Now that my client asks me for 7 months old mails. I got the mails to live disk where the archive path points in live server.
 
I did message archive search with the date specified in .zip and .dat file . but cant seem to find any mails after searching.

If you haven't done so already, after changing the path in SM to the archive folder, I think you need to stop and start the SM service in Windows, and let SM re-index the archive.
