New Option in Allowed Posters for Mailing Lists - Local Users
Idea shared by Shaun Peet - 10/20/2017 at 11:41 AM
Proposed
We have a number of customers who setup mailing lists which contain large-ish groups of people who are outside their organization.  We recommend that for these lists the Allowed Posters be set to Moderator Only or at worst Subscribers Only, and then add whitelisted posters as need for others who need to use the list (most of which would be other users inside their organization).

But since "it's less work" to just set the mailing list to allow Anyone as the poster than to add 5-10 whitelisted posters that's what a few are being setup as.

So would it be possible to have a checkbox next to the Allowed Posters section to automatically enable all local users on the same domain?  In almost all our own cases, people within the same organization would be trusted enough to send bulk mailings to their various distribution lists.  That would be easier / quicker than having to explicitly whitelist other internal users on the same domain.
