Cloud storage service integrations

Hello SmarterTools dev team and community at large.
 
Another recommendation: Please look into integrating OwnCloud/NextCloud into the SmarterMail integrations list. Many of our clients have their own OwnCloud servers and do not want to use Google, One Drive, etc. for their cloud storage needs. Thanks. This would be huge for us.

Agreed, we are preparing to offer our storage for other SaaS that we do.... so to be able to add or own service would be great

Also a strong yes please, part of our strong service offering us that we manage, own and operate our own infrastructure, clients prefer to use their own dedicated NextCloud servers for this task to keep their private data off the public shared space.

NextCloud Files Storage Integration.

Easy open-source API. Will make MANY people happy who self-host - in the tradition of SM itself (self hosting a mail server).

Honestly, besides Google Drive and One Drive, I haven't heard of these. There are so many.

I think it is better for SmarterMail to focus on email because if there is any corruption to NextCloud files that will be a big trouble and liability to us as service provider.

Seafile is another self cloud solution, and I'm guessing Roger really likes it, and wants to be sure it gets considered by both Smarter Tools and us. But I'm just guessing.

@Ron - OwnCloud and NextCloud (fork of OwnCloud) are massive, been around since ~2010 for OwnCloud and is used for some pretty large companies and projects, such as CERN.

This is where I wish SM was more dynamic and plugable, allow your community devs to write such plugins and what not.
