Keep SmarterMail from IDS blocking backup MX gateways

Our primary SmarterMail constantly IDS blacklists our backup MX gateways (email harvesting). Is there some way to tell the primary SM server that x IP addresses should not ever be blacklisted or IDS blocked?

Putting the IP addresses in the security whitelist should prevent this. Login as an admin then click Security then Whitelist.
