Message retrieval POP3 bug ? - unable to retrieve PEC (Certified Mail)

We have experienced a problem with 3 different installation of SmarterMail 15.5: when SmarterMail try to retrieve emails from another mailserver, if in the inbox of the remote server there is a PEC (Posta Elettronica Certificata - Certified Email) the system can't retrieve that email and all next emails.
When we move the PEC mail in the draft folder of the remote mailserver, SmarterMail restart to retrieve mail.
Is this a known bug ?
