Server: Move all SM data to another storage drive

Our SmarterMail was installed on a VM with just one hard drive.  That system drive is filling up even though we are constantly checking to find mailboxes or other files to delete.
 
Is there a process for move mailbox data to another storage disk?

Hi Jim.  Once you've moved your Domains folder to a new drive, you would simply need to do the following:
  1. Stop the SmarterMail service.
  2. Edit the C:\Program Files (x86)\SmarterTools\SmarterMail\Service\domainList.xml file.
  3. Change all of the "directory=" values to the new location of your SmarterMail domains.
  4. Restart the SmarterMail service.

Thanks Rod. Would I need to move the ENTIRE c:\smartermail folder to the new drive or just the domain folder like you mentioned?

Jim, you would only need to move the C:\SmarterMail\Domains folder. The Spool and Logs folder would be safe remaining.
