I am trying to send email from php script with SMTP authentication enabled. but i am getting following error message

There was a problem sending the email: The following From address failed: demo_email@gmail.com : Called Mail() without being connected

I have 2 different smartermail servers i am able to send email from one server but not able to send from other smartermail server. can anyone help me with this.
