ClamAV stopped working after latest update

Hi, i've just noticed that the ClamAV has stopped placing virus emails into quarantine.
So i checked the stats and viruses stopped coming in after I did the latest update!
How do i get this working again as it was clearing loads of viruses for me?
 
I did set it to Quarantine: none a while ago, but have since set it back to the 15 days.
Its still not showing any though.
I've also restarted smartermail service to see if that helped.
 
Any idea what I can do to get it going again?

Nobody else having this issue?
Anyone know where is the ClamAV log is situated, so i can try and find out why its not working?

OK, I seem to be getting a load of these in the logs:

Fri Jul 01 09:21:21 2016 -> Not loading PUA signatures.
Fri Jul 01 09:21:21 2016 -> Bytecode: Security mode set to "TrustSigned".
Fri Jul 01 09:21:21 2016 -> ERROR: Malformed database

Any idea how i fix this?

OK, fixed it I think.
In the following folder:
Program Files (x86) > SmarterTools > SmarterMail > Service > Clam > Share > ClamAV > 
 
Stop the smartermail service first.
Rename the file in the folder above: daily.cvd to something else.
 
Restart the service.
Once its renewed the AV definitions, things should be working.
 
This worked for me.

Well it lasted a week, now failing again...
A snippet from the log file:

Renamed above file in my instructions and its running again.

I don't really want to be doing this every week, how do i stop it dying?
