Search TEXT STRING is used when trying to delete all message in a folder
Problem reported by Rolf Jacobs - 4/27/2016 at 3:48 PM
Resolved
Using the WEB interface.

If I happen to search for something in the inbox, I get the expected results, no problem.

Then switch over to my SPAM folder, scan through quickly to ensure no important mail has landed in the spam folder and the attempt to DELETE all the mail in the SPAM folder.

The app seems to act like its doing something and a few moments later it finishes.

However, the SPAM remains, but every email in my inbox that matched the TEXT search I did is now in my deleted folder.

This is very bad...

I cant be the only one seeing this.

Rolf, good find. I duplicated this bug in the latest version (15.0.5962).
  1. In Inbox, type Facebook in search box (all Facebook messages are shown)
  2. Click on another folder (the Search box is now blank)
  3. Click the box at the top to select all messages in the folder.
  4. Click Delete and click OK in confirmation box (no messages in this folder get deleted)
  5. Go back to Inbox (all Facebook messages are gone)

This has just been fixed. If you need a custom build with this fix contact sales and I can get a custom build made.

Any idea when the next release will be posted? If it's a week or 2 away, we can just wait (unless you want us to test the fix).
