How do you update the list of extensions?

The help for Top Documents it mentions that :
"This report displays the most frequently downloaded documents on your website. Note: By default, SmarterStats considers the following extensions to be documents: .CHM, .DOC, .PDF, .PS, .RTF, .TXT, .XLS, .XML."
It goes on to say :
"However, the system administrator may set up additional extensions as documents'However, the system administrator may set up additional extensions as documents'"
But there does not seem to be much instruction on how to do this.
Could someone please let me know how to add to the list of extensions which Smarterstats considers documents eg .xlsx and .docx?
And could someone also explain why, in the latest version of smarterstats, are these files not considered?

Hi there! I can help out with your first question, though I'm not sure why the other documents you're adding aren't included by default. To add file extensions, log in as the SmarterStats system administrator and click on Settings >> Reports Settings >> File Extensions tab. You'll find the Download extensions here. I'll also look into getting this information added to the Help document. (Thanks for bringing that to our attention!)

Hope this helps!

Hi Paul,

Log in as the System Administrator and click on the Settings icon. Then click on Report Settings from the navigation pane. You'll find the File Extensions tab.

Here's more information on the Report Settings page:
