Can you send locally to a different domain that is on your server? Can you send to a remote domain that is hosted using a different service, like GMail or Outlook?

Hi Matt, yes mails to different Domains are no problem. Also not, if the different Domain is on the same server, like my Domain. I only have problems, if the recipient domain, is the same as from the Sender. Mail to gmail, gmx are no problem.

Could you set your delivery logs to detailed and try and grab the snippet of text of it attempting to deliver the mail.
-Admin settings > Log Settings > Set Delivary to Detailed.
-Then try your test
-Go to Manage and View Logs, hit search and look for your attempted delivery. Paste the result here.

The user your sending to, they aren't disabled are they?
I would create a brand new test user on your domain and try sending to that user.

Hi, I could send Messages to this email Adress directly from other Domains with no problem. I only have problems, if I send Mail from same Domain or forward a mail from the same Domain.

Edit: Could it be the Problem, that Smarterdools try to deliver the Mail inhouse? The delivery Adress is hosted by my webhoster (outside of Smartertools).

Unfortunately this will be hard to solve without a ticket. You could make a ticket but remember only the current release SmarterMail 14 and it's previous release SmarterMail 13 can be supported.

I would make sure that user does not have any content filtering set up. Could you try creating a test user on your domain and sending it to the test user?
