from time to time I'm having issues with RBL, URIBL spam checks which are performing too long (maybe DNS issue). Today I had problem with SURBL which SmarterMail reported with avg. time 1500ms which caused message to stuck in spool with Spam check status. Can you consider creating some kind of mechanism (which can be turned on or off) which will stop spam checking for RBL, URIBL remote list if avg. time is larger than X or it is not responding?
