Virus problem: what is the best antivirus solution ?

Hello,
I have SmarterMail Enterprise 14.x, with ClamAV.
I have 3000 mailbox, and every day, many mailbox receive virus attached to email and ClamAV does not detect it.

Many virus is attached into email in a zip or rar file.

ClamAV does not detect them, even Cyren.
Instead a client type Sophos or NOD32 antivirus, detect the virus inside the zip or rar, but at customer side, and if the customer does not have the good antivirus and/or updated, are trouble.

Now I need to find a permanent solution and effective server side.
I always seen it well with NOD32, I thought to try the version file server.
What do you recommend ?

I had thought the effectiveness of ClamAV had gotten better with the ClamSup additions...

Is ClamAV running properly with the additions for you?

I have try for many days ClamAV on SmarterMail 14 with ClamSup additions, but many many files is not detected. When email is delivered to client (where my customer have nod32 or sophos), the virus is detected.
