Allowing emoticons/emojis.
Question asked by Sean Middlemore - 6/8/2015 at 1:47 AM

Hello,

I've had some clients send emails with emojis through SM mailing lists. During the process they seem to be replaced with exclamation marks. Sending the emails direct works however. Are there any settings or tweaks I could make to remedy this?

Kind Regards,
Sean

If these are allowed, please give the primary SmarterMail Admin the ability to COMPLETELY disable them - system wide.

Our legal, financial, healthcare, and government business clients are constantly complaining about the fact that they cannot disable emoticons and emoji in business SMS messages which are sent from user owned devices.
