Create Ticket Event

I created a custom field called UserStatus  wich is filled by StartTicket external provided with information like: UNKNWON, SUPPORT, DESUPPORTED, PRIORITY
I tried to create "Ticket Created" event to classfy tickets bead on UserStatus custom filed, But this filed is empty upon raising event "Tecket Created (on idle event it is alredy filled properly)
How to properly implement ticket classification scenario?
