Delivery Failure : Reason: Remote host said: 550

Not really sure what is going on, as all the other emails on the domain are working correctly except the one below which will only send to local domains. I copied and pasted the error message that was received below. Any information on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Check three things:

1. Make certain the SENDER is SMTP AUTHENTICATED

2. If the sender if FORWARDING to another e-mail address, make certain you have SRS enabled in SmarterMail.  If it's not enabled, and the recipient is forwarding, it will break SPF and you will be rejected.

3. Make certain the SENDER is using the same SENT FROM and REPLY TO e-mail addresses, IE: not sending on one account and expecting a response on another - now blocked by many large ISPs.

We were testing the account trying to send to Gmail from within the email in question on SmarterMail. I don't know if that helps. Also I'm not sure what SRS as I've never seen it in the settings.

All you have to do is search SmarterMail SRS and you'll find the answer.

Here's the same answer, posted to this forum, just two weeks ago:

NOTE, as indicated by the original poster's response to my post in the message I referred you to, your SPF record must be correct for this to work.
