Page loading issue

I recently began having issues where the randomly our smartermail page will not load but will sit at a loading screen as shown in the image I have included below.  We have not always had this issue so I didn't believe it to be an IIS issue as we have made no changes to IIS since install.  That being said I am not sure if this is an IIS issue or a smartermail issue and am not sure where to look for clues as to the cause.  If I refresh the page it loads immediately. I am currently running smartermail 12.2.5283

Sounds like it might be a browser cache issue. Try clearing the browser cache or turning it off completely and see if it makes any changes.

You may also want to try an iisreset via the command line on the SmarterMail server (no you won't lose any data).

Good day Joshua,
Thanks for your time. I wanted to check back with you on this matter. I would like to reiterate the changes we suggested on the Support ticket to the IIS settings to presumably resolve the time out sessions.
* We increased the idle time outs from 20 minutes to 40 minutes in the Application pool under the Advanced settings.
* Applied the ASP portion of the server roles for IIS. I set that time out from 120 seconds to 240 seconds.
