I've asked for the many times over the years, but I'm going to ask again. We get a bunch of messages that are retrying over and over again that will never be delivered. A common one is that someone addressed something to user@sbcglobal.com instead of user@sbcglobal.net (or charter.com vs charter.net) and it will sit in the spool for 4 days. Or like right now we have a few dozen sitting there where gmail issues the "user is over quota".
PLEASE, just add an action that will allow us to Bounce these messages back to the sender with the last error code as the reason.
The way I have to do it now is to force the message over to one of our Exim servers, then hit the Bounce button there. It would be so much easier for SmarterMail to just allow us to Bounce messages that will obviously never be delivered.
