Message stating reboot required on upgrade to 13.2.551

Just completed upgrading our smartermail instances to 13.2.551 using the .exe installer. In both instances during the install a message stating a reboot was required (this occurred just before the services were stopped) however after the upgrade completed we didnt get the restart dialog and when we ran the self diagnostic after the completion everything came back OK and the version was shown as 13.2.551.

Everything seems to be working without a restart.

Not sure if this is an issue with the installer.\

Anyone else seeing this?

I've seen that message when I failed to stop the IIS services and mailservice. I think it means a file was locked during the installation process. I think the safe move is to reboot. Follow the upgrade guidelines closely next time and you shouldn't see that message.

Joe, The installer stops the mailservice and we also put in place a 'app_offline.htm' maintenance message before starting the upgrade and in the past (we have used SM since v8) have never seen this message. We did reboot the servers but just wonder why it showed up in this instance.
