Haven't received any emails all day
Problem reported by Christie Steinbock - 2/3/2015 at 3:48 PM
Submitted
I CCed myself on a couple of emails and realized they never arrived in my inbox.  I sent myself a couple of test messages from a different email account and they haven't arrived in my inbox either.  This was working fine yesterday.  I am the only one who can make changes and haven't done anything.  I'm not sure how to go about reporting this or getting help with this.  I've sent emails today and they are appearing in my sent box so I'm assuming those were sent fine.

Have you checked your Smartermail smtp logs to see if the messages made it to your server? There may be something at the Smartermail smtp level that are blocking them such as RBLs set up at the Incoming Connection Blocking level.

I keep reading that I should be able to go to Settings>Log Settings, but I don't have a Log Settings option.

What you need to do is log into your Smartermail admin interface as the server admin. Once in, Go to Manage>View Logs. You can view all of your logs from that screen.

Employee Post
Log in as the system admin, then go to Manage | View Logs. You may also have to go to Settings | Log Settings | Log Detail Levels and set the log(s) to Detailed.

There are many reasons that could cause this that has nothing to do with SmarterMail. Is the domain expired? Are your MX records pointing to your SmarterMail server? We would need your domain information to do a proper diagnosis.
Thanks, -Joe

If you are not the server administrator then contact your hosting provider.

Test your mail server using www.mxtoobox.com and check everything points and responds.
