Block specific email addresses, domains or IPs?

We're getting spammed repeatedly from the same email address.

Does SmarterTrack provide any way to block specific email addresses, domains or IPs?

it should have an option to span an email or a domain like Kayako does, instead of allowing creation of tickets from only registered users. Because in this way we can use it for new unregistered and potential customers

Employee Post Marked As Answer
Hello Michael,

Thank you for the inquiry. I believe the best way to handle this would be to either setup a blacklist or other filter on the mail server level since SmarterTrack will use your existing mail server for incoming and outgoing messages.

If there are specific email addresses that still come through, you can create either a System or Agent level event within the application.  You event may pertain to the specific email address or domain that you would like to filter.  You could have the event action set to auto-close so the tickets will not be distributed amongst the agents.

Thank you.
