Mails Sent from SM going to Spam on Major Providers
Question asked by Chinmay Khandekar - 1/12/2015 at 9:10 AM
Unanswered
Hi,
Since Day 1 of usage we were being marked as Spam on all major webmail providers (ie: gmail)

We have enabled SPF on Domain name End, But SmarterMail detects it as NO SPF.
All Tests for E-Mails show mails have SPF as passed!
We have enabled DomainKeys Signing. DKIM Signing & Certificate with DNS

Please advise.

Your MX server tests OK:

but I cannot TELNET to your server - check your FIREWALL settings and make certain your INBOUND connections are open for all of your SmarterMail ports.

you should also make certain your ports are properly mapped to the PUBLIC IP ADDRESS in your SmarterMail settings.

telnet easyreach.co.in 25

Connecting To easyreach.co.in...

Could not open connection to the host, on port 25: Connect failed

Hi, I checked my firewall I have created a custom Firewall Rule for SmarterMail C:\Program Files (x86)\SmarterTools\SmarterMail\Service\Mailservice.exe allowing all Ports! For Inbound Traffic. I should enable it for outbound too?

Your MX record is for smail.cspacehostings.com, is that actually your smartermail instance?

Because it seemed fine...
