Use of Purchase Orders

Can I send in a purchase order to make a purchase?
SmarterTools does accept purchase orders in order to generate price quotes that can be filled using a credit card or check. They can be emailed as a PDF document to sales@smartertools.com.

What information should be included on the purchase order?
Purchase orders must contain all of the following elements:

  1. Name, phone number, and email address of person ordering
  2. Company name, address, and phone number
  3. Products requested, including quantity and existing license keys (for upgrades)

If your purchase order form does not contain fields for this information, a separate attached page should be sent as well.

When will I receive my license key(s)?
Upon receiving a purchase order, a price quote will be prepared for your company. This price quote can be filled at any time within that time frame using a credit card or company check. Wire transfers, though discouraged, are available to companies that have no other option.

Upon payment of the price quote, license keys will be issued to the email address on the account.

In some cases, trial license keys may be issued before payment is received. If this is desired, contact sales@smartertools.com.

What if there are problems with my purchase order?
If questions or problems arise in preparing the official price quote, a SmarterTools representative will attempt to contact you via the email or phone number provided with the purchase order. To ensure the process gets completed as soon as possible, ensure that the information provided is accurate.
