Configure Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync for Email Accounts

Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync is a data synchronization protocol that uses push technology to provide over-the-air access to email, calendars, tasks and notes to Outlook 2013 and 2016 for Windows and a variety of mobile devices and tablets, including Android, iOS, and Windows devices.

NOTE: Before you can configure a mailbox to sync using the Exchange ActiveSync technology, you must activate the Exchange ActiveSync add-on. For more information, please refer to the KB article Activate Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
